"Mr. Jabber Wok"

Photobucket

I don't know how many of you were monster fans when you were growing up, but i was a HUGE monster fan..my dad had a couple books on monsters (probably where i got my liking for them right), and i ate them when i was smaller..and still do, haha.

I was a big fan of Gojira, Gamera, zombies, vampires, mythological beasts..and folklore creatures...such as the mysterious Jabberwock.

If you haven't heard of it, I def recommend looking it up, great poem ;).

This is my tribute peace to the creature.

what would i do without my caffeine...*falls asleep, snores loudly*

"Devil Drives Crazy"

Photobucket

A friend of mine and his friend had an idea for a comic strip and asked me to draw it out for them...and i said yes. ;).

Very cool idea by Gabe and friend, thanks!!!

"Dead Balloon"

Photobucket

I was waiting for an oil change and drew this in my handy dandy mini sketchpad while i was waiting..

I really like drawing the "uni-brow eyes", where the brow takes the place of eye balls...Larson used to do it with his cartoons as well as a few others, and I dig applying it to some of my toons from time to time as well.

Fetus #4

So these four fetuses were featured together in a 4 picture frame at my last exhibition at Krooked House Studios..for some odd reason, there was a couple of weeks where I really got into drawing fetuses, and these 4 are my best ones...

"Mr. Sinister"

Photobucket

This literally came out of a random doodle. first came the neck and then the head and i kinda just played around with it til i got this..the horns were a last minute add-on to the drawing, but i'm glad i put them on..kinda a tribute to all those "mr.sly" characters of early cartoon history.

"El Chupacabra Diablo"

Photobucket

My version of the chupacabra...the mexican goat-sucking creature that, from eye-witness accounts, looks like a furry almond-shaped head alien, with spikes..and red, glaring eyes...

I have a much cuter version for my comic strip, so this is kinda the "don't f*ck with me i'm a killa" version. ;) hope you enjoy.
